OCEAN GOING SHIPS
Commonly used in ship cooling water systems are open seawater systems, closed freshwater cooling systems, and central cooling systems. The seawater and freshwater pipelines of the central cooling system are separated, the freshwater pipelines are less corroded and clean, the management cost is low, and the system work reliability is strong; the high temperature and low temperature two channels of freshwater respectively cool different ship equipment. Make the system adaptable and improve the working performance of the equipment.
Jiaerda’s marine heat exchange equipment is used as the main equipment on ships such as oil cooler, freshwater cooler, central cooler, diesel engine cooler, liner water cooler, etc., and is widely used in oil tankers, liquefied gas ships, containers Ships, bulk carriers and engineering ships play an important role in the navigation of ships. Highly corrosive, easy-to-scaling seawater operating conditions test the corrosion resistance and high performance of Huaneng Technology's marine heat exchange equipment, and long-term continuous exercise tests the safe operation and stable performance of Huaneng Technology's marine heat exchange equipment.
Where can heat exchangers be used on ships?
As the main equipment on ships such as oil cooler, freshwater cooler, central cooler, diesel engine cooler, and jacket water cooler, heat exchange equipment is widely used in oil tankers, liquefied gas ships, container ships, and bulk carriers. And engineering ships, play an important role in the navigation process of the ship. Highly corrosive and easy-to-scaling seawater operating conditions test the corrosion resistance and high efficiency of heat exchange equipment, and long-term continuous operation tests the safety and stability of heat exchange equipment.
1. Propulsion device
The main propulsion device is composed of main operating subsystems such as a lubricating oil system, a jacket water system (open or closed system), and a fuel system. When generating energy, all these systems are heated and the temperature is controlled by using the heat exchanger in the system. The heat exchangers commonly used in the main propulsion system are shell and tube heat exchangers and plate heat exchangers.
2. Auxiliary power generation system
The auxiliary power generation system is similar to the main propulsion system, except that the energy is generated when output. Usually, shell and tube heat exchangers, plate and plate-fin heat exchangers are used.
3. Fresh water system
To produce freshwater, seawater condensers and jacketed evaporators are used, both of which are heat exchanger types, and shell and tube heat exchangers and plate heat exchangers are usually used.
4. Refrigeration system
In the refrigeration system, in the meat room, fish room, and vegetable room, the evaporator is used as a phase change heat exchanger. Shell and tube heat exchangers are used in condenser units in refrigeration systems.
5. Fuel injection system
For proper atomization, the fuel is heated in a heater using steam as the heating medium. It is mainly realized by using shell and tube heat exchangers. To reduce sulfur oxide emissions from the propulsion unit, combustible fuel is mixed with water spray so that it can directly contact the heat exchanger.
6. Steam turbine unit
If the ship is composed of a steam turbine unit or a turbine generator, a spiral heat exchanger is usually used for heat transfer.
In addition to the above aspects, there are several other applications. The heat exchanger is undoubtedly a very critical factor to ensure the normal use of the turbine so that the ship can sail smoothly.
